About Us
Ministering in the communities of Hamtramck and Detroit in Southeast Michigan.

Acts 29 is a continuing story of men and women who are taking Jesus’ commission seriously to spread the news of Jesus to our community and beyond.
What’s in a Name?
A lot actually! When most people hear the name Acts 29, they grab their Bibles and open up to the book of Acts expecting to find an exciting story about God’s work in chapter 29. Most are surprised when they find that Acts chapter 29 doesn’t exist in print. If people want to know what Acts 29 is all about they would have to pack their bags and travel to the heart of Detroit to a tiny two square mile city called Hamtramck. Here in the city Acts 29 exists not in print, but instead it exists in the real faces and lives of those of us that strive to live out the calling and commission of Jesus to be his hands and his feet to the people around us.
