Axis operates within Acts 29 to apply the gospel in a physical, visible way in order redevelop and restore the community. By applying general contracting skills with a missional heart, Axis defines and addresses critical needs in order to transform lives. In addition, the ministry seeks to re-establish career and financial stability for the unemployed through vocational training, allowing individuals to grow in self-sufficiency and spread the news of Christ’s good work with their new found skills. Axis and its work shares the gospel through a longstanding testament to the good work of the body of Christ. Axis aims to access the community in order to restore access to God by providing for physical needs and by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Presently there are four areas of ministry within the Axis department:

• Vocational training Wood Shop
• Mercy ministry
• Contract jobs
• The restoration and maintenance of our building at Acts 29

General Contracting

Axis directs a general contracting company which provides honest, quality workmanship at a fair price. The company allows ministry interaction with customers and assists in providing for Acts 29’s general and administrative funds.
