Shepherds traditionally care for the daily needs of sheep assigned to their care.  We have agreed to follow the “Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ”  to the city of Hamtramck.  We establish our residence  in the neighborhood and become “Shepherds” of the street we live on.   As we make contact with neighbors, we learn about their needs and look for ways to meet those needs through our Shepherds traditionally care for the daily needs of sheep assigned to their care.  We have agreed to follow the “Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ”  to the city of Hamtramck.  We establish our residence  in the neighborhood and become “Shepherds” of the street we live on.   As we make contact with neighbors, we learn about their needs and look for ways to meet those needs through our team’s resources or through mission teams who come to help us “hug the city” with Jesus’ love.  We have sent our youth door to door to ask “Is there any way we can help you, free of charge?”   Neighbors have allowed us to help them rake leaves, shovel snow, replace furnaces, repair electrical lights and sockets,build wheelchair ramps, and assess  their health needs for referral services, all in the name of Jesus, our Great Shepherd.
